Jackie holds a BM in Voice Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Masters in Educational Theatre from the City College of New York (Dec 2016).

Chicago native Jackie S. has been singing since age 4. Following the successful NYC premiere of Gregg Opelka’s C’est la Vie, Jackie has frequently produced and performed in musical theater and cabaret. Highlights of her work include a NYC/Chicago tour of her solo show, A Little Bit In Love and her recent one-woman solo show, The Glamorous Life, at The Metropolitan Room.This past year, Jackie was also named a finalist in the Lincoln Center Student Advisory Council’s College Cabaret and Classical Singer Magazine’s Young Artist Vocal Competition. Favorite theatre credits include: The Christians (Playwrights Horizons), The Events (New York Theatre Workshop), The Dream Café (Dramatist Guild Theater),and 3 the Hard Way (Theater for the New City). As a classical vocalist, Jackie has performed in Italy and was a U.S. Department of Education fellow to Florence, Italy in 2011. In addition to her work as a performer, Jackie has worked in the arts education field for 5 years as an administrator for cultural organizations and as a teaching artist. She holds a BM in Voice Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Masters in Educational Theatre from the City College of New York (Dec 2016).
