Fordham College at Lincoln Center, Bachelor of Science in Music and Psychology. Concentration in Vocal Performance under the direction of Elaine Lachica, soprano. Further studies with Chris Cain, Alexis Cole. Masterclasses with Alison Fraser, Marilyn Maye.

Kimberly is a classically-trained singer and pianist with a diverse range of musical influences, interests and experiences. Over the past two years, her stylistic diversity and artistic commitment have earned her multiple distinctions as a new talent in the local and national scenes. Among her recent awards are the Grand Prize and the Johnny Mercer Award from the 2013 American Traditions Vocal Competition in Savannah, GA, where she performed diverse programs of Musical Theater, Folk, Classical, Jazz, American Songbook, and Pop music over three rounds. In the same year, Kimberly was also named a Winner of the Jazz Forum Arts Vocal Competition in Westchester and The Cabaret Showdown in NYC. As a soloist or with one of her performing ensembles, Kimberly has been seen at Jazz at Kitano, The Metropolitan Room, The Belleayre Music Festival, White Plains Performing Arts Center, Caramoor Center for Music & the Arts, Under St. Mark’s Theater, the Hudson Hotel and the Art Deco Society of NY. Kimberly performs frequently as a bandleader/vocalist/tenor banjoist of the 1930’s-style band, The Swingaroos, and with the three-part vocal group, The Cherries on Top. She is also the creator of several music revues, including SOUNDIES – a show inspired by the Panoram music videos of the 40’s with new music by Kimberly and her pianist, Assaf Gleizner. With 8+ years of teaching experience, Kimberly is passionate about fostering a love of music in children and adults of every age. With her well-rounded background, she is happy to coach every style from musical theatre, to classical, to pop/rock. Her success lies in making a personal connection with the student and his/her musical goals and interests.
