Tiffany is a trumpet player currently based in New York City. Her orchestral experience includes performances with the Richmond County Orchestra, Concertino NY, Ureuk Symphony Orchestra, The Garden State Opera of New Jersey, The Patriot Brass Ensemble, and many other ensembles throughout New York City and surrounding areas.
Tiffany has attended several summer music festivals, including Spoleto Festival USA, Aspen Music Festival, Chosen Vale International Trumpet Seminar, Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific, The Rafael Mendez Brass Institute, and The Atlantic Brass Quintet Seminar, and Boston University Tanglewood Institute. She has also been a semi-finalist several times in the National Trumpet Competition’s high school, undergraduate, and graduate solo divisions, and took 6th place in the ensemble division with her trumpet sextet in March of 2010.
Tiffany completed her master’s degree in Orchestral Performance at Manhattan School of Music, where she studied primarily with Vincent Penzarella. Prior to this, Tiffany obtained her undergraduate degree in Trumpet Performance at Indiana University, where she studied with John Rommel. Her other teachers have included Terry Everson, Adel Sanchez, Joey Tartell, Manny Laureano, Tom Smith, and her own father, Gil Hoffer.
