Nadav has been both a private and group guitar teacher for over ten years, teaching a wide range of genres (Jazz, Rock, Pop and more) to all levels of students, at the students’ homes. His lessons are tailored to the student’s needs, experience and interests, and feature popular repertoire, proper technique, music reading, theory, and composition. These topics are all woven together and presented in the lesson in a comprehensive, yet fun and enjoyable way.
Education:
Rimon School of Jazz, Isreal, Completed in 2005 with a Rimon Diploma in Jazz Performance, graduated with honors. Berklee College of Music, BM Guitar/Jazz performance, graduated Magna Cum Laude. New England Conservatory MM in Jazz Performance, graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Hailing from the outskirts of Tel Aviv, guitarist Nadav R. is one of today’s emerging voices on the New York Jazz scene. Described as “an unassuming artist with a penchant for indie rock… forging a style built on understatement, logic and clarity,” he has established himself as a standout among a new crop of Israelis making waves in the jazz world, through his haunting guitar melodies and compositions that offer an intriguing combination of modern jazz, Jewish folk, and alternative rock. Nadav’s debut album, So Far, was released in 2011 on Brooklyn Jazz Underground Records and praised by leading Jazz publications including JazzTimes and Jazz Wise Magazine who gave the record a rating of four stars. He has performed and recorded with some of today’s leading artists such as Omer Avital, Greg Tardy, Jason Lindner, Daniel Freedman, Avishai Cohen and Jamey Haddad, to name a few. He has performed at some of the most prestigious festivals and clubs worldwide, including: Palatia Jazz Festival (Germany), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), NYC Winter Jazz Fest, Atlanta Jazz Festival, Bologna Jazz Festival (Italy), Teatro Manzoni (Italy), Nancy Jazz Pulsations (France), Israel Festival, Blue Note (NYC) and Smalls (NYC).
