Isabella is a classically trained soprano and pianist, with extensive experience in musical theater. Since 2010, she has taught beginner and intermediate students ranging from toddlers to adults. Isabella has performed in productions at the Minnesota Opera, Boston’s Symphony Hall with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, the College Light Opera Company, the Commonwealth Lyric Theater, and Skylark Opera, among others. She comes to New York from Boston, where she studied voice at New England Conservatory under Lisa Saffer. At NEC, Isabella was awarded a Community Performances and Partnerships Teaching Fellowship and an Entrepreneurial Musicianship Grant. Further studies also include SongFest at Colburn, the Bel Canto Institute (Florence, Italy), and La Musica Lirica (Novafeltria, Italy).
As a pianist, Isabella has appeared in concert with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Dakota Valley Symphony, and the Minneapolis Civic Orchestra. She is the recipient of three Special Grants from the Schubert Club and an Artistic Ambassador of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association. Isabella holds a B.M. summa cum laude and highest distinction in piano performance from the University of Minnesota, where she studied with Prof. Alexander Braginsky as a National Merit Scholar and Phi Beta Kappa member
