Asher is a versatile guitarist and educator who specializes in jazz, blues, rock, and folk music. Born and raised in the Big Apple, he was fortunate enough to study with some of the best jazz guitarists in the world including Kenny Wessel, Brad Shepik, and Peter Bernstein. Asher performs regularly at jazz clubs in New York City and Jersey City. In addition, he has worked as an accompanist at renowned musical theater venues such as New World Stages and 54 Below. On top of being a passionate musician and performer, Asher is a dedicated and patient teacher, who loves inspiring his students and helping them reach their musical goals.
